Project Overview

24Smart Solutions completed a large-scale structured cabling and network infrastructure project for Fugro Canada at its Mississauga facility.

The project supported a large commercial office environment with more than 100 workstations and involved the installation of over 16,000 feet of network cabling across the facility.

The scope included network connections for workstations, Wi-Fi access points, security systems, specialized laboratory areas, and advanced meeting room technology.

Project Scope

The project involved the installation of extensive structured cabling throughout the Fugro facility to support more than 100 workstations and a wide range of network and technology requirements.

More than 16,000 feet of cabling was installed, comprising 140+ individual network runs supporting workstations, wireless access points, security systems, meeting rooms, and specialized areas of the facility.

A significant portion of the project involved the meeting rooms. 24Smart Solutions provided the cabling infrastructure required for multiple large meeting spaces, including connectivity for more than six displays/TVs and the technology required for presentations, meetings, and content sharing.

The project also included dedicated cabling for a specialized laboratory area, requiring the network infrastructure to be extended to support the facility’s specific operational requirements.

All applicable network cabling was tested and verified to ensure reliable connectivity and proper performance throughout the installation.
