Project Overview

24Smart Solutions Inc. completed the low-voltage cabling and network infrastructure work for the second floor of the GWMC Fire Training Center in Mississauga. The project involved building out the communications infrastructure for new offices and instructional areas while upgrading and organizing the existing network cabling.

Scope of Work

• Installation of new horizontal network cabling for offices and instructional areas
• Installation and termination of new network drops
• Repair and correction of existing network drops
• Installation of a new network patch panel
• Cable termination, labeling, and organization
• Testing and verification of network cabling
• Connecting and integrating new network drops with the existing infrastructure
• Installation of a new conduit between floors to provide a dedicated pathway for network cabling
• Final organization and preparation of the network infrastructure for reliable operation

Project Result

The completed installation provided the GWMC Fire Training Center with a clean, organized, and properly tested network infrastructure supporting its new second-floor offices and instructional spaces. Existing cabling was also repaired and brought up to a more organized and serviceable standard.
