Project Overview

24Smart Solutions Inc. completed the structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure for a large-scale industrial facility at Elgin Mills Sheet Metal. The facility features high ceilings exceeding 20 feet and extensive manufacturing operations for sheet metal, HVAC components, and related products.

Due to the size and layout of the facility, the network and security infrastructure were strategically divided into two main areas—office and warehouse/industrial operations—to provide reliable connectivity, coverage, and security throughout the property.

Scope of Work

• Structured data cabling throughout the facility
• Data drops for offices and all major departments
• Installation of 12 wireless access points (APs)
• Installation of 40+ security cameras
• Security camera coverage for both the office and warehouse areas
• Network infrastructure for advertising and digital display screens
• Data cabling for office workstations and department locations

Project Result

The completed installation delivered a comprehensive low-voltage infrastructure supporting network connectivity, wireless coverage, digital displays, and security surveillance across both the office and large warehouse/manufacturing areas.

With 12 access points, more than 40 security cameras, and extensive data cabling, the facility now has a scalable and organized infrastructure designed to support its office operations, manufacturing departments, warehouse activities, and future technology requirements.
